Yvonne Jegede Pens Heartfelt Tribute To Her Ex-Mother-In-Law, Late Veteran Actress, Bukky Ajayi

We may have heard so many horror stories about mother-in-law squabbles with their daughters-in-law that some single ladies desire their fiancé’s mother would not be living when they marry.

However, Yvonne Jegede, a Nollywood actress, is not one of them. In February 2017, Yvonne married Olakunle Abounce Fawole, the son of the late renowned actress Bukky Ajayi.

Their relationship lasted for several years before they married, and they have a kid named Xavier Fawole. Jegede’s marriage to Abounce, a rapper turned actor, ended in 2019, and the couple is now divorced.

But it seems that while the relationship was still going strong, she had a tight bond with her mother-in-law, Bukky Ajayi, before the renowned actress died on July 6, 2016, at the age of 82.

Despite the fact that she is no longer married to her son, A bounce, Yvonne just uploaded a post on her Instagram page in which she remembers and eulogizes the late actress.

See her heartfelt tribute to her late ex-mother-in-law: “I miss this great woman so much for so many reasons.” @xavierjegede, I wish you were here to see your grandson. Mama, we miss you, and I’m not sure why I’m crying tonight. Mama, I miss you. I know you treated me as if I were yours and loved me as if I were yours. Mama B, I’ll never forget you, especially in your final days. Xavier will be ecstatic to learn of your existence. “

This suggests that when she was alive, Bukky Ajayi was a decent mother-in-law to her son’s wife. Despite being divorced from her son, Abounce, Yvonne still recalls her fondly and lovingly years after her death.

It is beneficial to be pleasant to others so that they can speak well of you even after you are no longer alive.

May Late Bukky Ajayi’s sweet soul continue to rest in peace.
