Yoruba Actress Taiwo Adepeko in tears as her store was looted in Lagos (video)

Taiwo Adepeko had taken to social media to cry out after her store was looted The devastated actress shared a video of the store which with several of her goods gone Taiwo who is a Yoruba actress and a fashion entrepreneur posted a video of herself weeping as she called on the government for help

These are trying times for Yoruba actress, Taiwo Adepeko, as she recently suffered a major business loss. In recent posts shared to her official Instagram page of over 200,000 followers, the actress revealed her shop had been looted. Taiwo who deals in gold jewellery, fabrics, dresses and other fashion accessories shared a video of her shop which showed empty shelves that once had piles of fabrics and other goods.

In the caption, she called on the Lagos state government to come to her aid and that of her twin sisters who presumably is her business partner as they are both orphans who struggled to start up a business.

She wrote:

“We are orphans and this happened to us, it’s not easy to get money to start up a business and everything will go off in just 1 night. There’s no more security in our environment and hoodlums are taking advantage of this. We have a family to take care of, shattered is an understatement. Words fail me, the government should do something about this.”

In another video posted, Taiwo is seen weeping profusely as she laments in the Yoruba language.
