“Yasin… Economy Nigeria o gba ki eyan pamo Jo bi eku ada If you are just planning to have kids, 1 or 2 is okay nii level ta wa yii” -Yoruba Actress Mosun Fulani Advise

Talking about a gentle, soft-spoken, talented Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Mosun Filani Oduoye has it all.

Born in 1968 in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria but hails from Ikole Ekiti, Ekiti State Nigeria. She was born and brought up in Ibadan where she had her primary and secondary education. She later proceeded to Tail Solarin University of Education, Ogun State (TASUED) for her tertiary education where she bagged a degree in Business administration.

Mosun Filani is a great entrepreneur, aside acting, she is the brain behind and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a skin care product and hair sales.

Talking about the acting career, she started early as she joined the stage drama group during her secondary and tertiary education school days. After her education, she started her acting career fully in 2005. She has featured in many Nollywood movies while she also featured in the popular television series, Jennifer’s diary.

She got married to a lawyer and politician, Emmanuel Oduoye, in 2012 and the marriage is blessed with 2 children, a girl and a boy.

She took a marriage leave in 2013 from the film industry to cater for her family which she later returned back. But it’s obvious that she focused more on her business more than acting now as she promotes it more on her social media handles while she seldom feature in films unlike before.

She celebrated her hubby’s birthday recently and later, she wrote on her Instagram page advising people to consider the nation’s economy and reduce the number of children they are planning to have.
