“She paid the ultimate price for her Family Breakthrough” Mixed reactions as Deborah Samuel’s Parents become Estate, Car owners with other benefits

Mixed reactions have trailed the new status of the parents of slain Sokoto student, Deborah Samuel Yakubu, a 200-level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, who was gruesomely murdered recently for allegedly insulting Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.

Following her tragic death, her parents have been gifted 14 flats by the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Chibuzor Chinyere.

They were gifted a 14 flats mini estate, a car for Uber business, a big shop for her mum, a scholarship abroad for her immediate younger sibling and education up to the university level for all her siblings; six of them.

Sharing photos on its official Facebook page, the church said a car was also included in the gift to help the family of the deceased, who are currently in Port Harcourt.

The act has earned the Omega Church praises from Nigerians and at the same time sparked mixed reactions.
