Popular nollywood actress, Funmi Awelewa, also known as Morilli, has taken to her Instagram page to blasts some of her colleagues who doesn’t pay her money after acting in their movies. Funmi said the nollywood industry is a big one, hence one needs to stand up and fight for her right. She explained that people only support things that are only beneficial to them and those at the top doesn’t help the upcoming ones.
She disclosed that the majority of people at the top only wants to use and dump her. She enjoined her colleagues to focus on only what brings food to their table. She encourages them to take care of their families because it is only their family that matters most. She said it is necessary to tell some of her colleagues that if they invite her for a job, she will collect her money. She said “you can not use popularity without money to feed your family. If you call me for a job, I will collect my money.”
