Ondo church: Mixed reactions as Tinubu distributes N75million to victims

Presidential Aspirant Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a condolence visit to Ondo state over the recent killing of innocent Catholic worshippers and pledged N75million to the victims of the Owo attack.

While expressing his condolences, Tinubu, in the company of the state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, visited the palace of Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, and said N50m out of the donation would go to the victims of the incident, while the other N25m will go to the Catholic Church.

Announcing the donation, Akeredolu said, “Our leader is donating N50 million to take care of the victims, and an additional donation of 25 million will go to the Catholic Church for the victims and every other thing.”

However, the action has sparked mixed reactions among Netizens with some insinuating that he probably orchestrated the act for as a campaign strategy.
