Not in Nigeria – Netizens react as U.S. president, Joe Biden pardons all federal offences on marijuana possession

Following the news that Joe Biden, the president of United States of America has pardoned everyone convicted of the federal offence of marijuana possession in his country, Netizens have reacted with mixed feelings.

Joe Biden had on Thursday, 6th October announced a pardon for all prior federal offences of simple possession of marijuana in the US and urged governors of fifty states in the country to extend the clemency to people who have been imprisoned by state laws criminalizing marijuana possession.

It is worth noting that in Nigeria, marijuana is an illicit drug frowned upon by the government.

Reacting to the news, some Netizens applauded Joe Biden while others said the country will be filled with gangsters.
