Funke Akindele announces new film ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’

Actress and movie producer, Funke Akindele, has announced her new film, Everybody Loves Jenifa, set for release this December. The actress, however, failed to give more info about the movie, especially if it will be in cinemas first or on streaming platforms.

Everybody Loves Jenifa may not be unconnected to the comedy franchise Jenifa, which metamorphosed into The Return of Jenifa, and a TV series, Jenifa’s Diary.

The first in the franchise starred Funke Akindele as Jenifa, a village girl who travelled to the city searching for fortune. Her quest led her to join a clique of immoral women, leaving her with ups and downs.
