Kris Ugboma, the wife of Nigerian comedian Bovi, stated that she had surgery on her Instagram page on January 24, 2022.
She had an ectopic pregnancy, according to her.
Kris Ugboma wrote in the article that she was suffering from severe stomach pains as she prepared to go back to Lagos on Friday, January 14, 2022.
She said she had no knowledge of what was happening to her. Her husband, Bovi, urged her to visit the hospital but she refused because she had an appointment at her son’s school.
Along the line she passed out from the pain and was taken to the hospital.
After undergoing tests, the doctor revealed that she had an ectopic pregnancy and it ruptured in one of her tubes. Hence, she immediately had to be operated on.
In her words “I couldn’t process what was going on. I needed strength at that point. I couldn’t even pray. I couldn’t even call anyone because the last thing I wanted was panic”.
She thanked God for being alive and promised that she’d be back soon.
