“You meet the criteria for becoming my father since you are my father and you have performed your fatherly duties. I will forever miss-Yomi Fabiyi

Yomi Fabiyi, a Nollywood actor, has shared some sweet memories with renowned actor Babatunde Omidina, also known as Baba Suwe.
The humorous performer who dominated the Yoruba movie business for decades as an actor and producer died today, November 22nd, after battling an unidentified illness, according to news reports.
Mr Latin, the president of the Nigerian Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association, confirmed his death in an interview with PUNCH, saying, “It has been established that Baba Suwe is dead.” I recently spoke with his son, who confirmed that the actor is no longer alive. I don’t have a lot of information about his death.”

Yomi Fabiyi paid a special homage to Baba Suwe, recalling how the comic actor helped him break into the Nollywood profession 20 years ago.

Yomi Fabiyi is grateful to the disease for his generosity, for acting as a father figure in his life, and for realizing his desire.

He wrote, “You gave me the first step in this industry 20 years ago through this movie.” I had no idea where to begin or how to approach you at the time, yet you found and encouraged me. You also prayed for me.

You meet the criteria for becoming my father since you are my father and you have performed your fatherly duties. No one is perfect, but you did everything you could to make my dream come true. You gave me hope, and I am grateful for everything you did for me.

You said you’d wait for me to return, Pressy. You’re the only person I know that laughs at my jokes even if they’re not funny. You are envious of my love and appreciation.

Sir, The King of Comedy, Baba Suwe, Omi ose tanikoko, oni pari esin, go and rest. You are simply the finest, my number one comedian. Rest up, sir; you’ve put in a lot of effort. I’ll always be a fan of yours.

Your boy and your son,
