“You are all working for government on credit and you are happy” – Yoruba Actor Jigan React After Protesters Were Arrested At Lekki Tollgate

Recalled that on the 20th of October 2020, Lekki Tollgate Protesters where alleged massacred and this has caused a global outrage as Nigerians cries and seeks for help from other international bodies. After months of investigation by the Judicial Panel, a concrete solution and evidence of the Lekki Tollgate Massacre incident have not been established.

Now the Lagos State government want to reopen it, which Nigerians calls Injustice. Top Nigerian celebrities took to their instagram handles to state that in it inhuman and barbaric for the government to reopen it without knowing who gave in order. This led to today’s protests.

As I’m talking to you, Popular Instagram comedian and actor, Mr Macaroni and other comrades has been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force. These has led an outcry as celebrities express their disapproval stating that the rule of law and our fundamental Human Rights have been trampled upon.

Popular comic actor, Jigan Babaoja has taken to his instagram handle to express his feelings about today’s incident.

On his post, he said:

“All the stupid policemen at Lekki Tollgate arresting peaceful protesters have not been paid 3 months salaries. You are all working for government on credit and you are happy. Una body go do wotowoto soon”.
