Yoruba Actress Funmi Awelewa Narrates How She Once Suffered Before Her Movie ‘Ebudola’ Paved the Way for Her

Funmi Awelewa is one of the fastest rising Yoruba film actresses. She rose into prominence through a movie ‘Omo Ibadan’ where she acted the role of ‘Morili’, a name which has been popularly attributed to her. She is known for her popular acting role as a verbal abuser in most of her movies.

The same role is being associated with her in her breakthrough movie ‘Ebudola’ which she released in 2020. The movie greatly earned her more fame as this is clearly evident in the millions of views the Yoruba Movie amassed on YouTube.

However, the Ibadan-born Yoruba actress has narrated her life story in the acting industry before she experienced a breakthrough.

She explained how his first movie produced was sold out of ignorance for 200,000 Naira despite the movie enjoying the presence of some famous actors and actresses in Yoruba Acting Industry.

She advised her fans never to relent on their dreams as her immediate latest movie produced ‘Ebudola’ later paved the way for her in the acting world.
