Relationship therapist and expert, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has advised people not to confess when they cheat on their partners, especially when they do not get caught because they will only end up being judged. Blessing CEO said.
“When you cheat, don’t confess especially when you are not caught. Forgive yourself and move on. Confession will not change anything. They are not Jesus Christ. They will judge you…”
Blessing CEO explained that confessing to spouses will only make them to judge you because they are human. She further stated that confessing won’t make people to stop cheating, as change begins with oneself and can only be achieved when one makes a decision
The relationship therapist spoke at length and also explained that humans can only see people’s actions and not their intentions, hence, humans’ tendencies to judge quickly.
She further stated that one should only confess and apologize if they caught in the act, but if not caught, they should just ask God for forgiveness and move on.
