What I do on my dark days, when I feel inadequate and unlove’ Alaafin’s estranged wife, Queen Dami, spills on surviving outside the palace

Queen Damilola, the estranged wife of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has hinted at surviving outside the palace after several failed attempts to return.

The beautiful mother of one who was regarded as one of the favourites of the royal monarch has turned brand influencer on social media.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Queen Dami said during her dark days, when she feels inadequate, unloved and unworthy, she remembers the daughter of who she is, adjusts her crown and moves forward like a queen.

Although it seemed like it had not been easy surviving outside the palace but Queen Dami is fighting hard to stay strong.

She wrote: ON THE DARKEST DAYS, WHEN I FEEL INADEQUATE, UNLOVED AND UNWORTHY. I REMEMBER WHOSE DAUGHTER I AM AND I ADJUST MY CROWN AND MOVE FORWARD LIKE A QUEEN THAT I AM .

News recalls that Queen Damilola was locked up in a cell after allegedly going against a palace rule, an act that prompted her to leave her Marriage and run away from the palace for Lagos on April 2021.

However, Queen Damilola, in a post shared on her Instagram page on Sunday 31st October 2021, apologised to the monarch stating that frustration and some friends had misled her to leave the palace, Dami added that some things are not more evident to her, and she is sorry for dragging the royal family in the mud.

Queen Damilola begged the royal monarch to forgive her and accept her back into the palace, stating that she would refund the money people contributed to during her difficult times.

Amidst the public apology, the Alaafin of Oyo shunned her as she’s yet to return to the palace.
