Karibi Fubara, a popular Nollywood actress, has died.
On Wednesday, December 12, 2021, his sister, Aya Eneli, revealed the actor’s death on her Twitter page.
“Karibi Fubara, my brother, has joined the ancestral world. I’m heartbroken, but not despairing. He lived his life fully and joyfully. He left behind a significant amount of work. An ancestor with a lot of authority. #ChiefBlack, I adore you. She wrote, “I do not own the rights to this music.”
Fubara was a Nollywood actor who rose to notoriety after starring in the film “Before 30” till his death.
God Calling, Quam’s Money, Castle and Castle, Royal Hibiscus Hotel, and Smart Money Woman were among the films in which Karibi Fubara appeared.
In 2020, the actor shared on his Instagram page how he discovered he had a huge mid-stage kidney tumor/cancer.
He showed some graphic photographs of what was removed “VIEWER DISCRETION STRONGLY ADVISED***” he scribbled out of his body. So it’s been a month of incredible revelations and rebirths in my life, as I was told around Easter that I had a massive mid-stage kidney tumor/cancer, and on May 3rd, I had a successful surgery to remove around 90% of the tumor. I’m now resting, reborn, and learning to life anew at home. I am eternally grateful to my incredible family and lifetime friends (you know who you are) who stood up to fight the spiritual and physical battles that were required to help me get through this. Mad love to all the medical personnel (particularly @euracarelagos) who took such good care of me and made sure I walked out better than I walked in; you are truly Angels among us, and we should never forget that. —————- I’d want to thank @irdocnigeria for correctly diagnosing it when no one else had.
