It’s not strange to hear or see some things Nollywood actors and actresses do just to put reality Into any movie production they are doing, we’ve seen cases whereby actors will go extra miles to the extent of inconveniencing themselves, all for a better goal, good production and perfect delivery to the viewers at home.
Most of us would be familiar with Nollywood actor Jide Awobona, especially from Wale Adenuga’s Super Story series, and also Jenifa’s Diary, before being seen in Nollywood movies regularly. The Bachelor of Arts graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University is no doubt a talented actor and producer, and has featured in series of movies.
For some days now, the husband to a beautiful wife and two lovely kids have been promoting a movie on his Instagram page which he titled ‘Alabede’, and it’s produced by him, in some of the skits and pictures posted online, he’s seen with a different hairstyle in the movie, which is different from the usual Afro hairstyle he’s always being seen with in movies and in reality.
In the Alabede movie, he went bald, with just a little bit of hair round his head, in a way that looks something like a great warrior or a powerful traditional ruler, which has made his fans and followers to applaud him for being so professional.
Some hours ago, he shared a video of himself in a salon where he barbed that hairstyle for the movie production, and also when he barbed it off after the production. And some fans said “they are gradually getting used to it”
