Polygamy marriage is one in which a man marries more than one wife. Many people have different views about the practice and to some, it is part of their culture. Punch newspaper has reported that a Nigerian actress and model, Folorunsho Adeola, popularly known as Arike Gold has given her say regarding the practice. According to the actress, keeping one’s life out of the public domain has many advantages associated with it.
Punch gathered that the actress revealed in an interview with Sunday Scoop that her private life is a happy one. Gold argued that if what people know about your relationship is limited, it will be difficult for your marriage to face the challenges most celebrity marriages face. She said even though you can’t stop those gossiping about you, living a private life by not sharing your details on social media will minimize the life dramas.
When asked whether she agrees that polygamy is a solution to infidelity, Gold said she agrees about the notion. She revealed that most women who live as second wives are comfortable and doing well more than those with single husbands. The actress however stated that it doesn’t mean that she will marry a married man. According to her, some ladies just want to have kids and wouldn’t mind if they end up with married men.
When asked how she feels about rumors peddled against her, the actress revealed that she doesn’t feel bad because she didn’t do any of those things.
