Meet The Nigerian Idol’s top six contestants As they visit show’s sponsor

The top six contestants in the ongoing Bigi-sponsored music reality show, Nigerian Idol— Jordan, Zadok, Itohan, Progress, Banty and Faith— paid a visit to the lead sponsor of the competition, Rite Foods Limited, on Friday, April 29, 2022. The visit, according to a statement sent to Sunday Scoop, was a demonstration of their appreciation for the company’s support for entertainment promotion and talent discovery in the country.

Urging the contestants to be on top of their games, the company’s Assistant Brand Manager, Boluwatife Adedugbe, likened the ‘Bigi qualities’ to the same consciousness and lion mentality of the company ‘which has led to the production of other brands’.

Adedugbe also encouraged the contestants to be creative with a strong commitment to what they do, as that would sustain them till the end of the show and ultimately help them win the prize.

On their part, the contestants also identified their favourite variants of the soft drinks produced by the company.

One of the highlights of the visit was the presentation of personalised gift items and a cash prize of N200,000 to each contestant. They also performed a song titled, Bigi Dey for You, showcasing their vocal strength. This was even as they lauded the company’s relentless support for talent discovery and development in the country.

The show, which will end on May 20, 2022, will see the winner going home with N100m worth of prizes, including a recording deal, a new Sports Utility Vehicle and cash prizes.
