‘May you reap bountifully what you sow’ – Comic actor, Imeh Bishop curses those behind insecurity in Nigeria

Comic actor, Imeh Bishop, popularly known as Okon Lagos, has lamented over the rising state of insecurity in Nigeria.

The Thespian who has always been outspoken in regards to the ills going in the country, said a back to sender prayer for all those behind what Nigeria is going through at the moment.

“For those of you in possession of state funds, continuously denying young people their right to education… from North to South, you weaponize poverty for the manipulation of their will and keep them continually chained, so as to do your sinister bidding of turning this country to a coliseum of blood. You feed fat from the insecurity of this country. May you reap bountifully what you sow! Amen,” he wrote.

In reaction, some of his followers have continued to scream ‘Amen’ to his prayers.

Nollynaijanews had earlier reported that president Muhammadu Buhari has warned perpetrators of killings in the South-East to expect tough response from security forces.

This was disclosed by the Presidency which appealed for caution over videos allegedly showing killings in the South-East, saying the videos may not be true.

Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, made this known in a statement on Wednesday.

According to him, experts are currently reviewing the videos to determine their authenticity just as he warned citizens against knee-jerk reactions to the video.

He said, “We call on all citizens to avoid hasty steps or conclusions that could exacerbate the situation, and on the contrary keep to a line of conduct that will help the law to take its proper course.

“The Presidency also cautions the public against the indiscriminate sharing of posts on social media so as to deny vested interests who seek to divide us and create disturbance the chance to do so.

“In the issuance of his very strong condemnation of these ‘wild, barbarous and wanton killings of innocent people’ in the South-East as well as the other parts of the country, which he described as ‘deeply distressing’, President Muhammadu Buhari warns the perpetrators of these acts to expect tough response from the security forces”.
