Funke Akindele aka Jennifer is a popular Nigerian actress and producer who have produced a good number of movies. Her recent trending movie which is currently topping charts, “Omo Ghetto The Saga” is one movie that features top Nollywood actors and actresses like Zubby Michael, Alexx Ekubo, Chioma Kpotha, Nancy Isime and many others.
The movie is all about a lady called Lefty who, together with her squad from the ghetto, was always getting into one trouble or the other. As luck would have it, fortune smiled on Lefty and she was adopted alongside her twin sister, Ayomide, by the lovely Mrs Benson and moved to an upper-class neighborhood.
Irrespective of all the affluence and the new luxurious change in environment, Lefty still finds herself going back to the ghetto, falls in love in the ghetto and keeps getting in trouble. Eventually, she gets into one very big trouble with which she tries very hard to get out of. Will Lefty succeed?
The Lefty on the movie is no other person than Funke Akindele who revealed recently on her Instagram account on how tough and challenging her role was in the movie ‘Omo Ghetto The Saga’.
“Taking up the character of #Lefty. In #omoghettothesaga was quite challenging and it took a whole lot of rigorous training, emotions and substitution in truthfully interpreting the character”, Funke Akindele revealed.
