I’m proud a beer parlour owner raised me – Nkechi Blessing

Actress Nkechi Blessing has slammed people who criticised her personality.

While delivering a speech at the one-year remembrance of her late mother, the controversial actress lambasted those who attribute her behaviour to bad parenting.

Blessing defended her late mother, describing her as the sweetest woman she knows and will keep remembering her.

“Despite being raised in a beer parlour, I turned out well,” she began.

Continuing the mother of one said: “It is believed that beer parlour girls are bad. Well, I might be bad but not that bad. I am bad and good.

“Regardless of what you hear about me from the media, those who are close to me know that I am the best person you can have in your corner.”

Reacting to critics who feel she acquired her wealth by dating politicians, Blessing said she becomes rich and famous through hard work.

“God punish any politician they say is sponsoring me, all I have is by my hard work. I may not be a billionaire yet but I am very comfortable and I am not begging to eat.”
