It is now popular among some set up mostly scammers to use pictures and name of popular celebrities to lure people into accepting what they do. And many people usually fell for this as they believed since a popular celebrity is involved, it would be legit and trustworthy. What they did not know was that many of these celebrities knew nothing about these people.
A well known Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele widely known as “Jenifa” has come out to denies a sponsored post that has her pictures in it. She posted the sponsored post on her social media pages telling people that she knew nothing about it and that people should be careful.

Pls beware.Also note that I’m not giving out gifts neither am I doing any give away whatsoever. We are also NOT enrolling students into any school of drama of Theatre Group so beware of impostors out there. Thanks

She also denied giving gifts to anybody or enrolling people into a school of Drama describing everything as a “scam”. The sponsored post shared by the actress was about a wallet that gives loans to people called ” fingertip wallet .
The award winning actress reiterated that people should be mindful of falling for an impostor.
