John Okafor Popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has recounted what transpired between him and the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Pastor Chibuzor Chinyere, while he was seriously ill in the hospital last year.
The comic actor was live at the Omega Power Ministry and spoke about the role Pastor Chibuzor played when he was on his sick bed.
Mr. Ibu said he was poisoned by his staff, whom he alleged were paid by his kinsmen to murder him.
He said his staff also poisoned his elder brother, but that his brother is making a good recovery at the moment.
Mr. Ibu said while he was on his sick bed, people thought he would not survive and he could feel life was leaving him.
He said his close friend called Nnadozie paid him a visit to the hospital, and when he saw his condition was critical, he placed a call with Pastor Chibuzor, who did a video call with the actor and prayed for him on his sick bed.
He said Pastor Chibuzor was always keeping in touch with him and praying for him everyday on the phone while he was at the hospital.
Mr.Ibu said prior to his illness he did not believe in miracles and felt most pastors were dubious, but Pastor Chibuzor proved him wrong.
He thanked everyone who cared for him when he was in his hospital bed and told people to be careful about the kind of friends they keep.
After his statement, Pastor Chibuzor said a word of prayer with him and told him he wouldn’t die but live to fulfil God’s purpose on Earth.
