‘I suffered depression as a child and made an attempt to commit suicide when my mother died’ – Nollywood Actress Nancy Isime

Nigerian actress and media personality Nancy Isime has opened up about her childhood experiences and challenges.

In a recent interview with the BBC pidgin, the model said she lost her mother at the age of five, and life was difficult for her.

According to the actress, she went through depression as a child, attempted to commit suicide due to her suffering state.

Nancy Isime noted some people have time to go through life, but her case was different because she needed to be matured. After all, losing her mother at the age of five made her exposed to many things.

Speaking on her work experience, Nancy, who hails from Edo state said, she started working at age seventeen with an ushering job.
