After the # EndSars protest destroyed his old phone, a Nigerian man on Instagram, identified as @Omosedeidemudia, took time to particularly appreciate Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe for giving him money to buy a new phone.
His phone broke down during a peaceful protest in Benin, according to Omosedeidemudia, and his mother agreed to give him some money to purchase a new phone.
Sharing a photo of her, Omosedeidemudia wrote;
“Guys help me say thank you to this great woman.. She just sent me money to buy a new phone, my phone was broken during the peaceful protest in benin .. GOD bless you ma.. @realmercyaigbe”
Acknowledging the appreciation post on Instagram, the mother of two wrote;
“The Nigerian Youths are moving and the gates of hell shall not prevail …My Benin people pls stay safe pls”
