During a program held to help Nigerian widows, a particular widow known as Ibadu Beauty disclosed what she’s been passing through in the hands of her husband’s brothers after his demise. The young lady said immediately after her husband died, his brothers were all interested in her, and they were even dragging amongst themselves who will marry her instead of supporting her.
She said they didn’t even care about how she felt or about her wellbeing, she was young at that time, so she was entering the guys’ eyes. Their interest was to marry her immediately after her husband died, none of them thought of supporting her with money or something to console herself.
The dragging was too much that she had to decline their proposals telling them that she won’t marry any of them if that’s what they only care about. They decided not to help her since she declined their proposals to marry any of them. That’s how her husband’s brothers dumped her and didn’t care about her till today. They don’t want to know whether she’s still living or not.
None of them thought of helping their late brother’s helpless wife. Then she had to toil and hustle on her own without depending on them for anything. She never expected what her husband’s brothers did to her, but life goes on.
