After being shamed alongside her colleagues on social media for supporting Tinubu’s presidential bid in 2023, Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola has reacted.
Foluke Daramola and other Nollywood actors were seen singing and dancing with Tinubu’s name in a viral video, according to Nollynaijanews
This infuriated Nigerians, who accused the Nollywood stars of abandoning the people by doing so, claiming that they are all chasing their own pockets at the expense of others.
Foluke Daramola, in a video posted on her page, responded by saying that the event was neither a political campaign nor a Nollywood event.
They advocated for peace and unity in Nigeria, according to Foluke Daramola, and did not support Bola Tinubu for president.
Foluke Daramola also stated that while she is a committed member of the All Progressive Congress, she is not a Tinubu supporter, and that people should stop spreading rumors.
