Actor Jigan Babaoja bags international award, months after rejecting to play gateman roles in movies

Nollywood actor Abimbola Kazeem popularly known as Jigan BabaOja, has emerged as the best actor in a movie titled ‘Inside Life’ courtesy of the Europe film festive award.

This comes a few months after Jigan lamented about consistently playing gateman roles in Yoruba movies.

Taking to his verified Twitter handle, Jigan pleaded with movie producers to help his career by giving him other roles.

He wrote: “If truly want to help my career , stop giving me only gate man role ! I can play any role my dear brother ! E ma baiye mi je.”

Announcing the latest achievement on his Instagram page, Jigan BabaOja expressed his excitement noting that he spoke what he wanted into existence, and it’s happening already.

He wrote: I woke up to this early today knowing that I emerged the winner as the best Actor in the eimoviefestiveawards ! That’s Europe Film festive award

Wow. Some few months ago that I rejected playing only gateman roles in movies because I wanted to do something different, I said what I want into existence and it’s happening already.

I am so happy and I thank God for this. Thank you so much @clarenceshotit for believing in me ( Inside life ) The movie. Join me to celebrate this with all my fans around the world. My family and all my well wishers
