Actress and business woman, Mercy Aigbe has pleaded with Nigerians to stop talking about her marriage to Mr Kazeem Adeoti, an already married man at the time she met him.
Mercy and Kazeem got married few weeks ago, and their marriage became quite controversial due to the circumstances surrounding Kazeem. Kazeem was/is married to a lady who used to be friends with Mercy.
Together, they have four kids. Mercy herself, was recently divorced from her ex-husband, who also used to be friends with Kazeem and his wife. This brought about the controversy.
In an interview with Media Hub, Kazeem stated that he is a Muslim and therefore has the right to marry more than one wife if it makes him happy.
He added that Mercy did not ‘snatch’ him as he is an adult and fully aware of his actions.
Mercy then pleaded with Nigerians that she is not the first woman to be a second wife, and so people should stop talking about her marriage because she is happy in it.
