As the protests against police brutality in Nigeria continues with each passing day, celebrities across different parts of the entertainment industry have taken it upon themselves to play their parts and support youths on the streets.
Popular Nollywood actors Saidi Balogun and Yomi Fabiyi who are mostly known for their roles in Yoruba movies joined protesters around the Alausa area of Lagos to speak against the continued misconducts of rogue officers across the country.
In a video posted by Fabiyi on his verified Instagram page, he was spotted alongside his colleague as they joined a procession of youths making their way to the government house.
Balogun made it clear that a complete restructuring of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) is needed and not just the change of name from Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) to Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT).
